TRAVEL
Bari Karol Wojtyla International Airport: Also known as Palese Airport among locals, is the main international airport serving Bari, in the South-East region of Italy (Puglia) and is a hub for Ryanair and Wizz Air. BRI Airport is located about 8 km (5 miles) northwest from Bari city centre. At Bari Airport there are available the following transport options:
Bus: Public transportation at Bari Airport is operated by several public and private companies.
Taxi: Transfer to Bari city centre in 25 minutes by taxi.
Train: You can also travel by train from Bari International Airport. Get within 17 minutes to Bari Centrale from BRI Airport by train. The train line to downtown is FM2 operated by FERROTRAMVIARIA. Trains depart from 05:26 am to 11:38 pm every 20-30 minutes. The cost of a single ticket to Stazione Centrale is 5 € and can be purchased on either at the rail station or online. The main railway station in Bari (Stazione di Bari Centrale) is located in the city center on Piazza Aldo Moro. There are 20 platforms at the station and has everything you need for travel: ticket machines and ticket offices, train boards, waiting room, cafe and supermarket. If your train leaves from the central station, then you should find out from which part of it, because it is possible for the train to leave the right wing or even from the underground part.

VENUE & ATTRACTIONS BARI
Bari is the capital city of the Metropolitan City of Bari and of the Apulian region, on the Adriatic Sea, southern Italy. It is the second most important economic centre of mainland Southern Italy after Naples. It is a port and university city, as well as the city of Saint Nicholas. Bari is made up of four different urban sections. To the north is the closely built old town on the peninsula between two modern harbours, with the Basilicia of Saint Nicholas, the Cathedral of San Sabino and the Hohenstaufen Castle , which is now also a major nightlife district. To the south is the Murat quarter , the modern heart of the city, which is laid out on a rectangular grid-plan with a promenade on the sea and the major shopping district (the via Sparano and via Argiro).

Trani: This unassuming seaside town on the coast of Puglia was a major maritime power in the Middle Ages, and home to one of the largest Jewish communities in southern Italy. Today a relaxed port city, Trani is dotted with vestiges of its former glory, including the romanesque cathedral, Scolanova Synagogue, and medieval fort.
Gravina di Puglia: Considered one of the prettiest hill towns the region, is home to a historic duomo, aqueduct, and castle, but its most remarkable treasures are hidden deep underground.
